Oppo A5s now available in India (Oppo)

Oppo on Monday launched a new budget smartphone in India. Called Oppo A5s, the smartphone is priced at ₹9,990. The smartphone will be available on Amazon Flipkart, Snapdeal, Tata CLiQ, PayTM Mall and all offline stores.

Oppo A5s comes in two variants - 2GB RAM with 32GB ROM and 4GB RAM and 64GB ROM. While the first variant is already up for sale, the top-end model will be available starting next month.

Oppo A5s comes with 6.2-inch LCD waterdrop screen, 19:9 aspect ratio and a 1520x720-pixel resolution. It is powered by MediaTek Helio P35 octa-core processor. On the software front, it runs on ColorOS 5.2.1.

"The processor is powered by IMG PowerVR GE8320 GPU running up to a speedy 680MHz. The MediaTek Helio P35 is backed by a hardware depth engine that enables OPPO A5s capture professional-grade Depth of Field (Bokeh) effects which helps capture incredible results. It is also paired to the Rolling Shutter Compensation (RSC), which cleverly mitigates warped ('jello effect') video when capturing fast action or panning," said the company in a release.

OPPO A5s sports an 8-megapixel front camera with f2.0 aperture. At the back the OPPO A5s is equipped with 13-mnegapixel and 2-megapixel dual rear camera with 5P lens and multi-frame anti-shake technology for smoother and more stable video shooting experience.

The smartphone is powered by a 4230mAh battery. OPPO A5s also comes with a rear fingerprint scanner.
