Oppo details when your phone will get WiFi calling in India
The Oppo Find X series will get the WiFi calling feature towards the end of July.
Oppo has shared a roadmap detailing when its smartphones in the country will get the WiFi calling feature.
The roadmap for the roll out of the WiFi calling feature was shared by the company via its official Twitter handle. “Check the VoWiFi update plan based on #ColorOS7 + #Android10 system,” the company wrote in the tweet. This hints that Oppo smartphones will get the WiFi calling feature along with the ColorOS update.

As of now, the WiFi calling feature is available for the Oppo K3, A9, Reno 2, Reno 2 F, A5 2020, A9 2020, F9, F9 Pro, F7, F7 128G, F11, F11 Pro, F11 Pro Marvels' Avengers Limited Edition, Reno, R17 Pro and the Oppo Reno 10x Zoom. Of these the Oppo K3 has already got the WiFi calling feature with the ColorOS 7 update back in May. Other smartphones are likely to get the feature via an over-the-air (OTA) update in the coming days.
Apart from these smartphone models, Oppo will also be rolling out this feature to its Find X series and the R15 Pro. While the Oppo R15 Pro will get the feature by the end of June, while the Find X series of smartphones will get the feature by the end of July.
It is worth noting that the WiFi calling feature, which essentially allows users to make voice and video calls using the available WiFi networks in areas of low connectivity, is available via select telecom operators which includes Reliance Jio and Bharti Airtel.
