After Vivo Nex, Oppo is taking the full-screen experience to a new level with its latest Find X smartphone. Featuring a motorised pop-up camera, Find X comes with no ugly notches, and boasts of a massive 93.8% screen-to-body ratio.
Oppo Find X comes with a 6.4-inch OLED screen and looks very similar to Samsung's Galaxy S9 Plus smartphone. But the Find X stands out with its unique mechanism for the cameras as they are hidden at the top panel. The smartphone's front and rear cameras along with a 3D sensor pop out once you launch the camera app. These sensors will slide back in after you close the camera app. Oppo says that this outer section opens as fast as 0.5 seconds.
Oppo also unveiled a Lamborghini edition of the smartphone. Lamborghini version of the Oppo Find X comes with more premium features such as carbon fiber texture on the rear, Lamborghini logo, and Oppo's new-gen fast charging tech, SuperVOOC. Oppo Find X price, availability
Oppo's Find X will hit the shelves in August in select markets. The smartphone will be available in markets outside Asia as well. The top-end model of Oppo Find X with 256GB storage and VOOC charging is priced at Euro 999, which is ₹78,000 approximately.
Oppo did not reveal the release date for Lamborghini edition but said the phone will retail at a starting price of Euro 1,599, roughly ₹1,26,000. This edition includes 512GB of built-in storage and carbon-fiber textured back and SuperVOOC charging.
Oppo Find X Specifications
Oppo Find X features a 6.4-inch Ultra FullView OLED display with 19:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood of the smartphone runs Qualcomm's Snapdragon 845 processor paired with 8GB of RAM. Also on offer are 128GB and 256GB of onboard storage variants.
The dual-camera setup on Oppo Find X comprises of a 16-megapixel and 20-megapixel sensors. Up front, the smartphone houses a 25-megapixel camera for selfies with 3D scan support.
Oppo Find X is fuelled by a 3,730mAh battery along with support for the company's VOOC fast charge technology. On the software front, it runs Android 8.1 Oreo with ColorOS layered on top. Connectivity options available on the smartphone include dual SIM support, 4G LTE, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi.
