Oppo launches the selfie-centric F1 smartphone in India
Oppo has launched its camera-focused F1 smartphone in India featuring an 8-megapixel selfie cam, an octa-core processor and 3GB of RAM.
Oppo has launched its much awaited F1 camera-centric smartphone in India. The launch marks the first phone from the company's newly launched F series, which will cater to some of their core products in the near future.
Priced at ₹15,999, the Oppo F1 is primarily aimed at users looking for a great selfie camera along with a stylish design. It features a fluidic design with an all metal body giving it that premium look. The smartphone features a sleek 7.25mm aluminium uni-body and will available in golden and rose gold variants.
In terms of specifications, the device gets a 5-inch HD display layered with Corning Gorilla Glass 4, an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 616 processor, 3GB RAM and a 2,500 mAh battery. Connectivity features on the device include dual-SIM slots, 4G, LTE, 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS. The smartphone runs Android 5.1 Lollipop out-of-the-box with the company's Color OS 2.1 UI.
The main highlight of the device is its camera ofcourse which is equipped with some nifty features such as Screen Flash. The company says that the Oppo F1 is aimed at photography enthusiasts with shooting modes such as HDR, Ultra HD, double exposure, GIF mode along with shooting exposure. The Oppo F1 features a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and an 8-megapixel front facing camera for taking selfies.
The Oppo F1 will be available for purchase starting February 4.
Alongside the F1, Oppo has also launched the F1 Plus which gets the same exact set of specifications and features apart from a 5.5-inch full HD display and a 4GB of RAM. The Oppo F1 Plus gets a price tag of ₹26,990 and will be available for purchase sometime in April.
