Panasonic launches 4G compatible Eluga Turbo smartphone in India

Panasonic launches a new smartphone in India dubbed as the Eluga Turbo featuring an octa-core processor and 3GB RAM. The device will be available exclusively on Snapdeal via the flash sales model.

Panasonic has launched a smartphone in India called the Eluga Turbo. Priced at 10,999, the new 4G compatible smartphone will be only available on Snapdeal via flash sales.

The device sports a glossy finish and get some rather decent specifications at the given price range. It features a 5-inch HD display with Asahi Dragontrail glass protection. Under the hood, it houses a 1.5GHz octa-core processor bundled with 3GB of RAM. The device comes with 32GB of in-built storage which can expanded via microSD slot. While optics include a 13MP rear camera with LED flash along with a 5MP camera on the front. The dual SIM smartphone comes with Android Lollipop 5.1 out-of-the-box and houses a 2,350 mAh battery.

In terms of connectivity, the device offers 4G, LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS and microUSB 2.0.

The Panasonic Eluga Turbo is now listed on Snapdeal and open for registration, though there's no exact date mentioned when it goes on sale. The smartphone can be pitted against the likes of the recently launched LeEco Le 1S which also comes at the same price point.
