The web series was originally scheduled to be released on May 20, but Amazon Prime Video released all the episodes of Panchayat season 2 on its streaming platform in the evening of May 18. The first season of the Amazon Original was highly acclaimed by both the critics and audience alike. Now the much anticipated second season is here, after a much anticipated period. The Panchayat season 2 has also strengthened the collaboration between The Viral Fever (TVF) and Amazon Prime Video. ## Panchayat Season 2 arrives on Amazon Prime ahead of its schedule Directed by Deepak Kumar Mishra who has also directed web series like Permanent Roommates and Kota Factory, the comedy drama Panchayat Season 2 also features Jitendra Kumar in the lead role. The second season will also feature Pooja Singh, Chandan Roy, Neena Gupta, Raghubir Yadav and Faisal Malik in their respective roles. Last week, the streaming giant released Modern Love Mumbai, another highly anticipated web series. In recent times, Amazon Studios has begun focusing on India-centric stories and it is increasing its library of Amazon Original content.
