Music lovers looking for better sound quality may find the answer in a new device called BoomStick, reports The Verge.

BoomCloud 360 created the $99 device, which uses a collection of algorithms to enhance sound when it is plugged into another device. The stick works by plugging headphones into the device, and plugging the device into an audio jack. Music gets a bass and sound detail boost, in addition to increasing the volume.

The small and light BoomStick offers 14 hours of battery life, which can be charged via a microUSB.
