My computer is fitted with a GA-M61PME-S2P motherboard, an AMD Phenom II x2 545 processor and 2 GB RAM (800 MHz). Is it good enough to play games such as Assassin Creed and Devil May Cry 4. How do I upgrade?
Dinesh Singh
To play these games, you will need a graphics card and additional RAM. You can choose between ATI Radeon and Nvidia GeForce graphics cards depending on your budget. For good performance, consider the ATI Radeon HD 4650 or Nvidia GeForce GT 240.
Should I go for an Intel Core i5 750 processor or do you recommend a better one? How much will an internal 500 GB desktop hard drive cost? Please suggest a graphics card that plays GTA 4 and Crysis Warhead smoothly.
Rohan Parkar
The Intel Core i7 is better processor than the Core i5. The cost of a 500 GB hard drive is around ₹2,800 and you can opt from Seagate, Western Digital or Hitachi. Some suggested cards include Radeon HD 5750 at around ₹8,700, GeForce GTS 250 at around ₹7,500 and Radeon HD 5670 at around ₹6,500.

I'd advise you to log on to the Dell website on www.dell.co.in and build your own configuration. Choose from Dell Inspiron or Studio XPS series, which offer good performance for games and graphical applications. Opt for one with Intel processors (Core i3 and above), higher memory, graphics processes from ATI or Nvidia and Windows 7.
