Realme’s first phone in China to be ‘Realme X’: Expected specifications, features, and more

Realme's first phone in China will be called 'Realme X'. Company Chief Market Officer Xu Qi Chase confirmed the name of the new Realme smartphone on Weibo.
Realme, Oppo's new sub-brand, is set to enter the Chinese market early next month. The company is also planning to launch phones in the European markets. Ahead of the launch, Realme has revealed some important features of the upcoming smartphone.
The phone, dubbed as Realme X, will come with an edge-to-edge screen with minimum bezels on the side. It also has a pop-up selfie camera, similar to one coming in OnePlus 7 Pro.
The latest Realme smartphone is identical to another Realme device with codename "RMX1909" was spotted on China's TENAA certification website, reports GSMArena. According to the listing, Realme X will come with a 6.5-inch full HD+ screen. The phone is powered by a 3,080mAh battery. The pop-up selfie camera will sport 16-megapixel resolution.
Realme is reportedly going to release Realme 3 Pro in China as well. The phone has a 6.3-inch Full HD+ display. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 processor with up to 6GB of RAM. It sports 16-megapixel (f1.7 aperture) and 5-megapixel (f2.4 aperture) dual rear cameras, and a 25-megapixel f/2.0 selfie camera. Other features of the phone are 4,045 battery, Android Pie and Vooc fast charging. Realme 3 Pro is available in India at a starting price of ₹13,999.
