Reliance Retail warns customers about fake JioMart websites

In an announcement today, Reliance Retail has cautioned people about unscrupulous individuals who are creating fake websites and pretending to be a part of JioMart. These fake sites are duping users by pretending to grant franchisee of JioMart services.

Reliance Retail published a notice on all its social media platforms warning people.

The notice mentions that Reliance Retail is not operating any dealership or franchisee model currently and have not appointed any franchisee or any agent to appoint any dealer or franchisee in any manner whatsoever.

Reliance Retail added that they also do not charge any amount to appoint a person as a franchisee. This is an additional warning for people looking to sign up to become a JioMart franchisee that they should not be paying any agent/franchisee for this and websites charging them are fake.

In the notice, Reliance Retail also warned that they will not hesitate to pursue criminal or civil proceedings against any person to prevent the misuse of trademarks and protect its goodwill and reputation. The company has also urged members of the public to report such deceitful activities to its legal cell.
