Embattled BlackBerry maker Research In Motion (RIM) plans to release a new tablet called Blackforest in 2013, according to leaked reports.

A document that appears to be the company's product roadmap for the year, which was obtained by a BlackBerry blog post through an anonymous source, revealed RIM's plans for the future.

The document shows a 4G BlackBerry PlayBook, which is likely to be US-only, for the end of this year, as well as new BlackBerry 10 devices for early 2013, The Telegraph reports.

The document also revealed that the firm is planning to launch the new tablet , codenamed Blackforest, in the third quarter of 2013.

It has been speculated that this new table might have a 10-inch screen, larger than the PlayBook's 7-inches, and could have as much as 128GB of storage.

According to the report, two other products are slated to appear next year but they are referenced only by their codenames- 'Nashville' and 'Naples'.
