Samsung Galaxy Note 20, Note 20 Ultra India prices revealed, pre-booking starts
The newly launched Samsung Galaxy Note 20 is priced at ₹77,999 and the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra is priced at ₹1,04,999. Pre-booking these devices will get customers benefits worth ₹19,000.
Samsung has opened pre-bookings for its flagship Galaxy Note 20 and Galaxy Note 20 Ultra 5G from today. These smartphones were launched last night at the Galaxy Unpacked event. The new Galaxy Note 20 series come with the latest chipset and the S Pen and some pretty solid specs.
The Galaxy Note 20 was launched in Mystic Green, Mystic Gray and Mystic Bronze, while the Note 20 Ultra was launched in three colour options of Mystic Bronze, Mystic Black and Mystic White.
Galaxy Note 20 Ultra specs and features
Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra features a 6.9-inch Dynamic AMOLED Quad HD+ curved display with a 120Hz refresh rate and an in-display fingerprint scanner. It's the first phone to feature the new Corning Gorilla Glass Victus. The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 865+ processor.
Galaxy Note 20 Ultra comes with 12GB of RAM and 128GB, 256GB and 256GB storage options for the 5G variant. The LTE model gets 8GB of RAM and storage options of 256GB and 512GB.
For cameras, the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra sports a triple camera setup on the back with a 108MP primary sensor and 50x Space Zoom. The other two are a 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 12MP telephoto lens. The main shooter comes with 8K video recording support. For selfies, it has a 10-megapixel punch-hole camera with dual-pixel autofocus.
For power, the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra packs a 4,500mAh battery.
Galaxy Note 20 specs and features
The Galaxy Note 20 has a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED Plus FHD+ display. Samsung has skipped the high refresh rate on this one and it only supports only 60Hz. The Galaxy Note 20 also comes in 5G and LTE variants with 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage.
On the Galaxy Note 20, you get a 64MP primary sensor with 30x Space Zoom. The other two sensors and the selfie camera are the same as they are on the Note 20 Ultra. The smartphone also packs a smaller 4,300mAh battery and comes with the same Snapdragon 865+ chipset under the hood.
In India, however, both the Galaxy Note 20 and the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra will come with the Exynos 990 under the hood and not the Snapdragon 865+. Also, the Galaxy Note 20 will not come with 5G support in India, only the Note 20 Ultra is a 5G device.
The Galaxy Note 20 series come with support for Microsoft's Project xCloud. Starting September 15, users will get access to over 100 Xbox games with Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, featuring titles like Minecraft Dungeons and Gears 5.
Samsung India has announced some benefits on two popular games - Asphalt 9 and Forza Street. Consumers downloading Asphalt 9 and Forza Street here will get special benefits worth approx ₹5,000 as part of the special pre-booking offer with Galaxy Note series.
The Galaxy Note20 is priced at ₹77,999, while the Galaxy Note20 Ultra 5G will be available for ₹1,04,999 in India.
Consumers can pre-book their Galaxy Note20 and Galaxy Note20 Ultra starting today on Samsung.com and across leading retail stores. Customers pre-booking Galaxy Note20 will be eligible for benefits worth ₹7000, while those pre-booking Galaxy Note20 Ultra will get benefits worth ₹10,000. These benefits can be redeemed on Samsung Shop app on a set of products, including Galaxy Buds+, Galaxy Buds Live, Galaxy Watches, Galaxy Tabs, among others.
Additionally, when paying with HDFC Bank Credit and Debit Cards, consumers will be eligible for cashback up to INR 6000 on purchase of Galaxy Note20 and up to ₹9000 on purchase of Galaxy Note20 Ultra.
Existing Galaxy users will be eligible for an Upgrade offer to get an additional discount of ₹5000 in lieu of their current Galaxy smartphone. This brings the overall benefit to ₹19,000.
