Scary! 280-foot Asteroid 2022 SG6 heading for Earth today, clocked at 11 kilometers per second

A massive building-sized space rock dubbed Asteroid 2022 SG6 is heading for Earth and will make a close pass to earth from a distance of 6,000,000 kms on October 13, 2022. The space rock is currently some 6.03 million kilometers, equivalent to 0.04 astronomical units away from earth. And hence, it is close enough for NASA to study the asteroid using radar.
