Favi Entertainment has released its new SmartStick Media Center at CES, the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. It offers full Android support and claims to offer more streaming apps and channels than any other streaming device available.
The new SmartStick unifies search and discovery from over 100 popular streaming sources such as YouTube, Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon Prime. It allows users to browse and search across the entire catalogue of sources and receive recommendations on ways to watch 40,000 movies, 300,000 TV episodes, 1,700 channels and 1.8 million apps sorted by free, subscription, rent and buy options.
This allows users to avoid jumping from one app to another to see what is available where. Users can select a film or TV show and the SmartStick Media Center will provide all viewing sources. Users merely have to shake the remote to activate the air mouse to go from media center to full Android PC mode.
The SmartStick will be available in late January.
