You might have sent funny 'snaps' to your friends using Snapchat's built-in emojis and face mapping filters but the app is adding a more serious use case to itself with features like location tagging, date and time and captions.

And that use case is journalism. Snapchat can be used to create photo and video stories which engage the user in a unique way. In photo stories, you can capture your story with the caption, location and time. Similarly, video stories can captured for a maximum of 10 seconds, where you may speed up or slow down your video.
