Face masks are not just mandatory for us in person now, it is also something that’s made its way virtually to our online avatars. Snapchat has teamed up with American designer Virgil Abloh’s apparel and accessories brand Off-White, to launch an augmented reality (AR) Lens experience.

This collaboration kicks off a whole series more collaborations that we are going to see on Snapchat in 2021.

The lens created by Snapchat and Abloh allows Snapchatters to virtually try on a selection of three iconic Off-White AR face masks. These masks draw inspiration from Abloh’s SS21 collection. And if you like what you see, you can also purchase the mask, to wear in real life, from Off--White.com.

This particular AR Lens was developed to encourage Snapchatters to continue wearing protective face coverings.

You can sport these masks in your Bitmoji selfies and encourage your friends and followers on Snap to do the same.

This collaboration is the latest in a series of Snap X Artist partnerships that has previously seen collaboration with artists like Damien Hirst, Christian Marclay, Alex Israel and Harmony Korine.

How to get these new face masks:

    - Open Snapchat

    - Tap on your Profile in the top-left corner

    - Under ‘Bitmoji,’ tap ‘Select Selfie' to choose an Off-White face mask
