Sony adding new features to PlayStation Network

Sony might be adding new features to the PlayStation Network on Tuesday as it notified the users that some services will go offline at 10 p.m.

Sony might be adding new features to the PlayStation Network on Tuesday as it notified the users that some services will go offline at 10 p.m.

The company updated PlaySation 4's firmware earlier this month to add remote play for PC and Mac. Sony said that only the PlayStation Store, Account settings and videos will be unavailable during the downtime.

"We apologize for any inconvenience. We strive to ensure that PlayStation Network services are available at all times, but occasionally we must take PlayStation Network offline to perform essential maintenance and implement feature enhancements," said the company.
