Sony Xperia L2 with 8-megapixel wide-angle selfie camera launched
The smartphone comes with support for NFC and Google Cast.
Sony on Monday launched a new smartphone focused on selfie enthusiasts. Called Xperia L2, the smartphone is priced at ₹19,990.
Sony Xperia L2 comes in two colour options of black and gold. The smartphone is available for purchase starting February 5.

The device sports a 5.5-inch Wide Screen HD display with Corning's Gorilla Glass on top. For photography, it sports an 8-megapixel 120-degree super-wide angle selfie camera and a 13-megapixel rear sensor with aperture of f/2.0.
The smartphone is powered by 3,300mAh battery along with support for Qnovo Adaptive Charging Connectivity options include dual-SIM support, Bluetooth 4.2, NFC, and USB Type-C port. It also features a fingerprint sensor at the rear.
"'Xperia L2' lets users toggle between portrait selfie mode and group selfie mode on a single click," the company said in a statement.
The smartphone is powered by MediaTek MT6737T chipset coupled with 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage that can be expanded up to 256GB.
On the software front, Sony Xperia L2 runs on Android 7.0 Nougat. More features on the smartphone include Google Cast support, Clear Audio+ and Clear Bass.
