Evernote
Ditch the single-ruled notebooks and Pilot pens, and take notes on your laptop using this application. "The advantage with Evernote is that you can sync your files to the web and access them through your phone or on any other computer," says Liz Thatchet, a law student. Evernote not only lets you compile different notes and pictures in the form of notebooks, but also lets you record audio files from college lectures, and take instant snapshots from your phone, which are automatically synced to the web.
