A few launches and announcements in the menu today. While Acer launched a bunch of desktops PCs, laptops and monitors whereas Jio ended the day by launching a new browser app. We also saw Truecaller making a big announcement as it introduced three new features. Acer launches new Chromebooks, laptops, speaker and monitors

At its global event, Acer today unveiled a bunch of new laptops along with Chromebooks, new monitors and even a smart speaker for the market. The list includes products like Acer Swift 3X laptop, Predator-branded monitors, Acer Halo smart speaker, special edition Porche Design laptop, Chromebook Spin 513 and ConceptD 7 laptops and desktops.

Reliance launches JioPages browser app for Android users: Check out the features

Jio has launched its new browser, JioPages, in order to deliver a fast browser that is also secure. The firm is also marketing it as the made-in-India browser. JioPages is built on Chromium Blink engine and promises to deliver “enhanced browsing experience through faster engine migration, bestin-class webpage rendering, faster page loads, efficient media streaming, Emoji domain support and encrypted connection.”

Truecaller Call Reason, SMS Translate and SMS Schedule: What's coming to Android and what's coming to iOS

Truecaller, the app better known for its caller ID capabilities, has introduced Call Reason, Schedule SMS and SMS Translate features for users globally. However, not all the users are getting these features just yet. While one is coming to both Android and iOS, the other two are Android-exclusive only for now.
