It was an eventful day in the world of tech. On one hand, we saw Microsoft revealing the launch date for its foldable display smartphone, that is, the Microsoft Surface Duo. On the other hand, we saw Google announcing a host of new updates for Android, Meet and Classrooms platforms. In addition to that, we also saw Itel launching a budget smartphone in India.

Twitter launches new conversation settings

Twitter on Wednesday rolled out new conversation settings that enable users to control their conversations on the platform. This feature includes controls that allow users to choose the people who can respond to their conversations. It also enables them to pick the participants in a conversation whom they want to respond to.

Microsoft Surface Duo launch date revealed

Microsoft today revealed the date when it will launch the Surface Duo foldable display smartphone. It will launch in the US on September 10 and cost $1,399.

Android gets five new features

Google rolled out five new features on its Android mobile OS. The list includes the feature that will enable users to detect earthquakes on Android smartphones and track their screen time at night among others.
