On July 4, Nitesh Yadav, a full stack developer, posted this on Twitter, “Can I bring my mother on salary negotiation call? She can definitely make a better deal”. While the original post on Twitter did not get much love, he later posted the screenshot on LinkedIn the post immediately went viral. At the time of writing this, the post had more than 162,000 likes and over 1,800 comments. Reading the post, netizens have also begun coming up with their own hilarious responses.

A mother herself was there to represent her child's cause. She wrote, “I'm the mom. I wish I could sit in my child's interview and state all that she has accomplished as she's too shy to brag”.
An HR personnel also participated in the fun conversation with their own take. He said, “May not help if on the other side is also a Mother to negotiate”.
