The company had introduced the feature for Android users last month. MapmyIndia will provide information, such as Covid-related points of interest, including all vaccination centres across the country, Covid designation hospitals, and test centres, among others. Truecaller users can now easily access details and a location map by tapping on the MapmyIndi banner within the platform. With FactChecker, the team will aim to verify contact numbers included in Covid relief. Also read click here. With this partnership with MapmyIndia and FactChecker, we are hopeful to provide people with some relief with finding the right locations and verified contacts for hospitals, beds, and basic medical facilities. We are optimistic that the new feature will be able to provide some assistance for medical requirements and help our mission of fighting the virus together,” said Rishit Jhunjhunwala, MD India, Truecaller. As mentioned earlier, Truecaller last month launched a Covid Hospital Directory for its users in India. The directory provides information such as telephone numbers and addresses of Covid designated hospitals from multiple states across the country, sourced from official government databases. Truecaller, however, cautioned that it did not assure the availability of hospital beds. Apart from Truecaller, other internet firms have also launched services related to Covid-19. For instance, Twitter has a Covid-19 vaccine fact box on user timelines. The box is aimed at encouraging more people to get vaccinated. Facebook is also hosting a bunch of resources through Community Groups on its platform as well as WhatsApp. Catch all the Latest Tech News, Mobile News, Laptop News, Gaming news, Wearables News , How To News, also keep up with us on Whatsapp channel,Twitter, Facebook, Google News, and Instagram.
