The social network has introduced a new feature, so far only on its iOS app, that provides a snapshot of the top tweets since the user last logged in.
To ensure users don't miss out on any big news from their network, Twitter now provides a recap under the heading 'While you were away.' When logging in after a certain amount of time away, users will find a list of the top tweets according to engagement (retweets and/or favorites).
According to Twitter, users who log in frequently will see the new feature less than those who only check the social network from time to time. Of course, users will still have the option of checking the full newsfeed at any time.
Currently available on the iOS app, the new feature will be added to the Android mobile app and Twitter website in the near future.
