Was the OnePlus 3 great? The 4 will floor you

If you thought that the OnePlus 3 was amazing, then think again as the the OnePlus 4 is just around the corner. If specification rumours are true, then the new device will floor consumers.

While the OnePlus 3 comes with Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor along with 6GB RAM, the 4 is expected to come with 8GB RAM along with the 820 processor.

According to a report published in Twitter-like Chinese social media Weibo, the device is expected to hit shelves in the summer of 2017 but the company has not confirmed the report.

Other rumoured specifications include a 5.5-inch screen (same as OnePlus 3) with 2K or QHD resolution support with very little design changes.

Along with 8GB RAM, the 4 will run on the latest Android OS Nougat at its base with a latest iteration of the Oxygen OS. The OnePlus 3 runs Marshmallow at is base with Oxygen OS on top.

The battery is also expected to see an upgrade of 1,00 mAh. This means that the 4 will draw power from a 4,000 mAh battery instead of a 3,000 mAh battery which is being used by the 3.

However, the rumour is that there will barely any change in prices. The 4 is expected to be priced at $400 (27,000).
