A trailer for the latest installment in the popular SimCity franchise showing in-game graphics for the first time debuted at video games industry conference E3 on Monday, June 4.

The trailer for this latest installment of the classic city-building genre shows graphics featuring airport, road and building construction as well as social unrest and a very brief shot of a Godzilla-style monster attack.

SimCity is due on the PC in 2013 and can be pre-ordered at http://www.simcity.com.

At the EA press conference at E3, Maxis also announced a Facebook version of SimCity, SimCity Social, which is expected to launch in the next month.
