WhatsApp is making a tiny tweak to its app

This feature is available in the company's latest Android and iOS beta apps.

WhatsApp is one of the most popular messaging apps in the world. Reports in the past have detailed the features such as multi-device support and Chat Thread that we expect to see in the coming days. Now, word is that the company is making a tweak to its platform that will make it easier for users to view the contents of a chat bubble.

As per a report by WABetaInfo, the company is working on a feature called Larger Media Preview for its users.

The blog site that tracks development in WhatsApp shared a bunch of screenshots to demonstrate how the difference between the old and new chat bubbles. The images shared by the publication show that earlier, the chat bubbles featured a standard format. The new chat bubbles are taller and hence they display more information.

It is worth noting that this feature is being developed for both the company's Android and iOS-based apps. It is available as a part of WhatsApp beta for iOS version 2.21.70.11 and WhatsApp beta for Android version 2.21.8.1.
