WhatsApp stickers to get a major update soon
WhatsApp's latest beta update adds a much-needed improvement to stickers on the app.
WhatsApp has added a new update to its beta program on Android. The new update brings a search tool for WhatsApp stickers on the app. Unlike emojis and GIFs, there's no search tool for stickers on WhatsApp.
The latest WhatsApp beta update 2.20.198.5 comes with the search tool for stickers. The new WhatsApp feature may not be visible to public beta users although some are seeing it already. First spotted by WABetaInfo, the magnifying glass icon now appears when you tap on the sticker tab on WhatsApp. You can enter different keywords and related stickers will appear in the search results.
In addition to this, there are certain keywords by default like love, greetings, happy and sad for WhatsApp stickers. These keywords are separated by tabs and there are different stickers in each of them. A search tool for WhatsApp stickers is quite helpful since it's one of the most popular features of the messaging app. At present, everything is pretty manual when it comes to searching for stickers and downloading them.

WhatsApp has its in-app emoji, GIFs and stickers that users can share on the app. There's a search tool for both GIFs and emojis within the app. For stickers, users have to manually search through and select the one they wish to send on WhatsApp.
WhatsApp has also rolled out two new stickers packs today for Android and iOS. The new sticker packs are called ‘Yaya' and ‘Hacker Girl'. These are static stickers and not animated ones that were recently launched on WhatsApp.
