WhatsApp QR code: Where to find it?

WhatsApp already has an in-built QR code for every user and you don't have to use a third-party QR code generator. All you have to do is just open WhatsApp on your iPhone or Android phone and tap on “More Options” or three dots menu. There click on the Settings tab. For iOS users, the “Settings'' tab is available at the bottom. You'll see the small QR code icon next to your name, tap on that and the QR code will show up.

How to share QR code?

Step 1:

Once you find your WhatsApp QR code, you’ll see a share icon below it.

Step 2:

Tap on that and you will see several options like WhatsApp, Email, Messages etc.

Step 3:

Click on the option through which you want to share your WhatsApp QR code.

Step 4:

Now select the contact whom you want to share with.

Step 5:

Once done, tap on send and it’s done. 

You can also scan the QR code via WhatsApp by just tapping on the Scan code tab available beside My Code. as you click on it the scanner will be opened and you can scan the QR code.
