WhatsApp Update: Redesigned context menu, new delete messages limit rolled out
WhatsApp beta users have just received a big update as the messaging platform is looking to improve its Windows beta app. As per the latest information from WABetaInfo, WhatsApp is now releasing a redesigned context menu for people who install the latest update from the Microsoft Store.
"After releasing an update that brings the ability to pause and resume voice notes thanks to a new interface, WhatsApp is now pushing another update for Windows beta on the Microsoft Store that offers a redesigned context menu to beta testers," WABetaInfo said in the report.
Sharing a screenshot related to the update, WABetaInfo informed that the redesigned context menu shows up when you select a text in the chat text field. It also offers quick redesigned shortcuts to format the text such as bold, italic, and strikethrough.

However, it has also been informed that while using the new context menu it is no longer possible to fix typos because the suggestions do not show up in the redesigned context menu.
Meanwhile, in another report WABetaInfo revealed that WhatsApp is finally rolling out the new time limit to delete messages for everyone to some beta testers. It can be noted that the previous limit was 1 hour 8 minutes and 16 seconds.
As per the information, the new limit to delete the messages for everyone is 2 days and 12 hours. The report further informed that WhatsApp is also working on the ability to delete any message in groups if you are the group admin, in the future. However, as the release date of the update is not yet known, you will have to wait for sometime to be able to use it.
