The category straddling device is a bit too big to be a phone but also falls short of being a full size tablet. So what exactly is it? It's the perfect tool for the people really looking to get productive on the move. The 5.3" screen is small enough to fit in a pocket while also providing a large enough surface area for editing spreadsheets, browsing the web and playing HD clips. Read on to find out the five reasons why the Galaxy Note should be your next Android device! 1.Massive HD Screen Yes, the Galaxy Note packs in an absolutely enormous display. What's even better is that the display is of the AMOLED variety. AMOLED displays offer deeper blacks, richer colors and this effect is particularly enjoyable on the massive screen here. Owing to the high resolution, it is possible to view incredibly detailed images, HD videos and large webpages. 2.S-Pen The Note has a special weapon hidden inside its svelte shell. The S-Pen is a special accessory that enables users to sketch, write and make notes straight away on the screen. A small button on the side enables further functionality like taking screenshots an invoking a notepad ANYWHERE in the OS. ![image caption](https://images.hindustantimes.com/tech/static/revamp/images/png/ht-tech-bg-img-245-140.png) We've had stylus-enabled devices for years now. Where the Note differs is that it is equipped with a Wacom Active Digitizer that can detect 128 pressure points and allows you to make exceptionally detailed sketches. 3.Processor The Galaxy Note is powered by one of the fastest processors on smartphones at the moment. The processor in the Note is blazing fast at 1.4Ghz Dual Core and is capable of performing pretty much anything you throw at it. The Note is capable of playing Full HD 1080p High Profile video clips on its 720p screen due to the combination of a powerful processor and graphics chip. You will not have any trouble playing the latest HD Android games. The specifications also make it eligible for an upgrade to Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) in the near future! 4.Battery Life Looking at the incredible fast internals and massive screen, you would expect the Note to be rather poor in the battery life department. However the phone-tablet combo turns out to be a stunner due to the 2500 mAh battery pack. ![image caption](https://images.hindustantimes.com/tech/static/revamp/images/png/ht-tech-bg-img-245-140.png) Tests have concluded that the Note is capable of lasting almost 8:30 hours while looping the same video clip. Very impressive! 5.Perfect Multimedia Device The Galaxy Note is probably the best portable entertainment device that you can get in the market today. The back of the device includes an 8MP camera, which also shoots 1080p video. The front is equipped with a 2MP unit for video calls and self-portraits. ![image caption](https://images.hindustantimes.com/tech/static/revamp/images/png/ht-tech-bg-img-245-140.png) This combination of killer specs , massive HD screen , inbuilt 16GB storage AND fantastic battery life to boot can't be beat. Multimedia addicts would appreciate the size of the device as it is the perfect compromise between portability and comfortable viewing.. The Galaxy Note retails at ₹34,999 in India and comes with a free leather case included. That is a fair price to pay for what is probably the most unique device to hit the market in a while. Get it if you want a device, which would replace both your smartphone and tablet.
