Do you love to travel? Perhaps your job involves a lot of travel? With airports becoming bigger and the number of flights per day spiralling, travel schedules today have become more and more hectic. In these circumstances, planning our travel has become imperative, especially if one is a jet-setter. Gagandeep Singh Sapra reports.

In these circumstances, planning our travel has become imperative, especially if one is a jet-setter.

In no order or preference, I see several problem areas: ensuring my calendar is uptodate with flight information, fixing regular reminders to pack and schedule my departure for the airport, tracking the flight for delays, tracking my frequent flier points across airlines - and last but not the least, checking out my destinations for suitable restaurants.

Here are a few travel apps and must-haves for smartphones that help in all of these.
