Did you think that the Xbox was a games machine? Think again, suggests Microsoft, in the North American TV commercial for November 22's brand new Xbox One.

Big game integration with fantasy football and player stats, voice-controlled navigation, video calls nestled next to TV content and exquisitely decorated living spaces populated by handsome young adults fill an ad that coincides with the start of the NFL season.

YouTube reaction was mixed: some were repulsed by the lack of video game content or the Xbox Live paywall, some concerned over the sturdiness of TV-related content for those outside North America, but others expressed appreciation for the console's multi-media capabilities: 'The Xbox One is a gaming console, but it can do all that and much much much more.'
