Xiaomi flaunts Mi 5 camera samples ahead of launch
In what appears to be a build up to the launch, Xiaomi president Lin Bin has teased an image showcasing the camera capabilities of the upcoming Xiaomi Mi 5 flagship
Xiaomi is all set to unveil its much-anticipated Mi 5 flagship on February 24 at the upcoming Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2016.
In what appears to be a build up to the launch, the company's president Lin Bin has now teased an image to showcase the camera capabilities of the upcoming Xiaomi flagship. He posted two sample camera shots of an exotic beach on his Weibo account on Tuesday. Going by these samples, it seems the upcoming Mi 5 will feature some good camera capabilities.
Rumours of the forthcoming Mi 5 have been churning out thick and fast. Based on earlier reports, the Mi 5 is expected to include a 5.2-inch display, a 16-megapixel rear camera with Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS) and a 13-megapixel front facing camera. Other rumored specifications include a 3,600 mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 and a fingerprint sensor.

A report by GizmoChina earlier claimed that the smartphone will be offered i four variants - two of them featuring metal bodies while the other two will sport glass bodies. The Mi 5 is expected to run Android 6.0 Marshmallow out-of-the-box with the company's MIUI 7 skin atop. The device is also expected to pack the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor.
