Xiaomi at its Smart Living 2020 event unveiled a new 65-inch smart TV, sound bar and water purifier. The company is also scheduled to launch Mi Band 4 at the event. Xiaomi’s 65-inch smart TV comes with 4K resolution. It comes with Android TV out-of-the-box. Users get access to all Google Play Store compatible apps. Netflix and Amazon Prime Video will be available on PatchWall OS for the 65-inch smart TV. Shemaroo, ABP News and Epic On have also joined PatchWall OS 2.0. The smart TV has 4K and HDR 10 as well. It supports Dolby Audio as well. Xiaomi also launched 50-inch and 43-inch 4K smart TVs in India. It also introduced a 40-inch full HD TV. Here are the highlights.

The latest fitness band has 24/7 heart rate monitoring. Mi Band 4 is said to deliver up to 20 days of battery life. The Mi Fit app has also been updated with new UI and gives more insights to users. The smart band supports Bluetooth 5.0, four coloured straps, daily activity tracking, 5ATM water resistance.

Xiaomi Mi Band 4 comes with swim tracking along with usual set of tracking features. Users can also use Mi Band 4 to control music such as changing volumes or shuffling tracks. The smart band comes with new watch faces. Three watch faces are pre-loaded while users can download more via Mi Fit app. Users can also use photos from their phone gallery as the watch face.

Xiaomi says it has shipped over 1.5 million units of Mi Band 3 since the launch. Mi Band 4 comes with a full colour AMOLED display with a 0.95-inch panel and 2.5D tempered glass. The fitness tracker has 5 levels of brightness for different light settings.

Mi Smart Water Purifier is priced at Rs 11,999. It goes on sale on September 29 on Mi.com, Flipkart and Mi Home.

Mi Smart Water Purifier also has a DIY filter replacement. Xiaomi says users can replace the filter in less than 30 seconds.

Xiaomi has launched a new smart water purifier in India. The device comes with RO+UV. Xiaomi claims the smart device has been designed specifically for India. The device comes with 7 litre tank. Mi Smart Water Purifier has a five-step purification process. It comes with three cartridges. Users can check TDS levels through the Mi Home TV app available for both Android and iOS. Users also get an alert when the filter is about to expire. The app also allows users to buy the filter within the app. It also shows insights such as daily or weekly water purification levels.

Data Saver
Xiaomi has introduced a new Data Saver feature for its smart TVs. With the mode on, users can save on data consumption when streaming content. It also allows users to Miracast content from their phone.

Xiaomi has also launched a 40-inch full HD smart TV. The device comes with 20W speakers and Patchwall OS 2.0.

Manu Kumar Jain said Xiaomi is fastest growing TV company in India. He said Xiaomi contributed 85% growth to the smart TV segment in India. He said Xiaomi had about 55% market share in the online TV segment. Jain said that more than 80% of the smart TVs sold in India are manufactured locally.

Xiaomi's new smart water purifier looks quite different from the usual RO water purifiers in the market. The device will reportedly feature Wi-Fi connectivity which allows users to track water quality through the Mi Home app.
New Motion Sensing lights
Xiaomi is expected to introduce new smart lighting solutions with motion sensing capabilities. A recent teaser hinted that users could automatically switch on and off and even change colours based on motion sensing.

Ahead of the launch event, Xiaomi announced that it had become the top brand in the online smartphone segment. Citing Counterpoint Research smartphone tracker, Xiaomi said it has now 46% market share.
