(Unity) ![Author Photo](https://images.hindustantimes.com/tech/static/revamp/images/png/HTTech-new-circle-logo.png) ### By HT TECH Lego has teamed up with game engine maker Unity for the Lego Microgame. With the Lego Microgame you can put together a virtual environment for your own custom game world, like you would be able to do with lego bricks. The best part is - the Lego Microgame is free and you don’t need to have prior knowledge of video game programming to be able to play this. You just need to follow a tutorial Unity has and you are good to go. Once your virtual world is ready, you can let Lego minifigures loose to run around and navigate through obstacles in your new world. Also read click here. The Creative Mods in Unity will help you with things like building an enemy, customise your menu, change your minifigures to pirates or adventurers if you want. Unity has worked with BrickLink to allow further customisation by importing sets that have already been built in Studio. There are assets add-ons like Space Cadet and Danger Zone. These you can unlock by doing things like “sharing your game, updating your game, or attending a game jam”. The Lego Microgame, according to Unity, is simple and you can build and customise a 3D game in less than an hour and that complete beginners can easily navigate through this as a part of their mission is about “making game development more accessible and lowering obstacles for new users”.
