The latest YouTube application update for iOS (iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad) is in keeping with the one for Android: users can now enjoy live and streamed videos on their smartphones and tablets.
With version 1.3, users can access streaming content on the platform. The update comes at a time when more and more events are streamed on YouTube, such as Coachella and Psy's recent concert in Seoul.
Thanks to its 'Send to TV' function, which makes it possible for users to switch between their smartphone and their connected TV, the YouTube application will allow users to enjoy videos and live events on the big screen.
