Google is rolling out this new feature on Android, iOS, and web as a server-side update.

Google has rolled a tiny update in its YouTube Music service that makes the interface of the app a tad bit cleaner to use, especially when looking for artist profiles.

As per a report by 9To5 Google, Google has released an update to YouTube Music that brings grid views to artist profiles. This grid view not only displays all the albums by a specific artist but it also displays all their singles in the YouTube Music desktop and mobile apps.

If you have used YouTube Music before, you would know that the service shows all of an artist’s works, including all the singles, in a standard list format. That is changing now as the service is replacing this format with a grid format.

If a band or an artist has a sufficient number of tracks, including albums and singles under their belt, YouTube Music will display a new ‘See All’ button when a user looks for their songs. On tapping on this button, users will see the grid in all its glory, which basically means that users will see large album art with the name of the song, name of the album and year of release being displayed under it.

Unfortunately, the size of the album art remains large in case of the mobile app as well. This means that users will see just six albums or singles in a single scroll. However, they do get the option to switch between the grid view and the list view. Apart from the desktop app and the mobile app, this feature is also available on tablets.
