Samsung launches the super-thin Frame 2021 with customisable bezels: Check out price, specs
The idea with the Samsung Frame 2021 is to be able to “Make your own TV”, you can pick bezels in different colours to match your living spaces.
Samsung has launched the Frame 2021 in India which is 46% thinner than the previous model and is also customisable. The main idea behind the Frame 2021 is to allow customers to make their own TV by allowing them to choose from a range of customisation options. With the Frame 2021 you can select different colour bezels to match your surroundings. The Frame bezel can be customised in two colour options: White and Teak. It also comes with a new adjustable TV stand so as you can fit in that soundbar in the right place without increasing the clutter.
In Art Mode, this smart TV can now look more like a picture frame with a library of over 1,400 artworks to pick from. You can also set photos of your friends and family on the display and customise the pictures with different layout options and a palette of 16 different colours. The Frame 2021 also includes AI-based auto-curation technology that recommends artwork based on your selections. The smart TV also offers increased photo storage space of 6 gigabytes (up from the 500 megabytes in older models), so you can store up to 1,200 photos in UHD quality.
The Frame 2021 comes with QLED technology and 100% colour volume. There is also Samsung’s Quantum Dot technology, powerful Quantum Processor 4K, 4K AI upscaling capabilities, and SpaceFit Sound that auto-optimises sound settings after analysing the environment of your room, Q-Symphony that lets the TV and soundbar operate simultaneously, voice assistant support, multi-view for two screens, tap view, Smart Home support, and Samsung TV Plus.

The Frame comes with the Slim Fit Wall-Mount and one single, translucent cable to connect devices to your TV. And you can finally find a more discreet place for your TV peripherals with the help of the One Connect Box. The Frame also comes with motion and brightness sensors, so when you’re nearby, the motion sensor can detect your presence and turns the TV display into artwork or a picture frame for your family. When you leave, it turns off automatically to save energy. Also, by detecting ambient light, the brightness sensor can automatically balance the screen’s brightness and colour tone.
The Frame 2021 will be available on Amazon, Flipkart and Samsung’s official online store Samsung Shop from June 12. Early bird consumers will get a complementary bezel worth up to ₹9,900 if they buy it between June 12 to June 21.
Samsung Frame 2021 prices in India
The Samsung Frame 2021 is available in four sizes - 43-inch, 50-inch, 55-inch and 65-inch. The prices start from ₹61,990. Along with this, as we mentioned earlier, you get a complementary bezel worth ₹9,900. Consumers can also avail a cashback of up to ₹3,000 on No Cost EMIs on HDFC debit and credit cards. There are also no-cost EMI options for up to 24 months from leading banks. The Frame 2021 will come with a 1-year comprehensive warranty and 1-year additional warranty on the panel.
The Frame 2021 also come with a sustainable packaging design that can be upcycled as a cat house or bookshelf. There is also a self-charging solar cell-powered remote controls that don’t need external batteries and gets charged by indoor lights, to help reduce greenhouse emissions.
