Sony launches Bravia X75 series smart TVs in India

Both the variants will be available across all Sony Centers, major electronic stores and e-commerce portals in India starting April 21.

Sony on Wednesday launched the Bravia X75 series smart TVs in India. The newly launched smart TV series is available in two variants. While the 43-inch variant costs 59,990, the 50-inch variant costs 72,990. Both the variants will be available across all Sony Centers, major electronic stores and e-commerce portals in India starting April 21.

As far as the features are concerned, Sony's X75 series smart TVs are powered by the company's X1 4K processor that is coupled with 16GB of storage space. Sony says its X1 4K processor cuts noise and boosts details. Both the variants come with an LCD display with a resolution of 3840x2160 pixels. The BRAVIA X75 series of smart TVs come with an upscaling technology wherein the images filmed in 2K or full HD resolution are upscaled close to 4K resolution by its 4K X-Reality PRO engine.

On the audio front, the Bravia X75 series comes with Dolby Audio technology. It has two 10W speakers that are powered by Open Baffle Speaker, which the company says delivers a sound that is well suited to movies, sport and music. On the connectivity front, it has Wi-Fi802.11a/b/g/n/ac, one Ethernet port, Bluetooth 4.2, built-in Chromecast, an HDMI port, and two USB ports among others.

Lastly, the newly launched Bravia X75 connects to users' smart devices such as Google Home or Amazon Echo, allowing them to control their TVs simply by asking the smart assistant to do so.
