Sony launches Bravia X80J TV series in India ranging from 43-inch to 75-inch screen size

The highlight here is the inclusion of Sony’s X1 4K HDR picture processor.

Sony is expanding its TV lineup this time of the year in India by launching the BRAVIA X80J Google TV series. The lineup includes five screen sizes - 189 cm (75), 165 cm (65), 140 cm (55), 126 cm (50) and 108 cm (43) for X80J series. However, only the 65-inch model's price has been revealed for now. The 65-inch KD- 65X80J costs 1.3Lacs and is available from Sony Centers, major electronic stores and e-commerce portals. The prices of other screen models will be announced later.

The highlight here is the inclusion of Sony's X1 4K HDR picture processor. The tech has Object-based HDR remaster, enhances colours of individual objects along with adjusted contrast, to deliver better depth, textures, and more realistic pictures. The series also comes with TRILUMINOS Pro display algorithm to handle the colour saturation, hue and brightness. Besides, if you have 2K or FHD resolution content, the BRAVIA X80J's 4K X-Reality PRO tech can upscale it to 4K for better clarity and sharpness.

Sony's new TV lineup is not just offering visual enhancements but the firm claims its TV models to focus on audio as well. The series supports Dolby Atmos along with X-balanced speakers.

In addition to these, the TV series integrates Google TV and has built-in microphones in the TV remote so you can activate Google Assistant anytime. Also supported are Apple Home Kit and AirPlay so you can connect Apple devices like iPads and iPhones to stream content.

Finally, you get improved X-Protection PRO technology that protects the home appliance from dust and humidity.
