TCL to launch its P-series smart TVs with Android 11 in India soon
TCL today announced that it will launch its P-series 4K HDR TV in India soon. The company said that the upcoming launch is a part of its global first approach and that India will be the first country to have the product.
The upcoming smart TV series was unveiled by the company at CES 2020 last year and it runs on Android 11. In addition to that, the P-series smart TVs come with Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos technologies, which the company says offers ultra-vivid picture quality with perfectly-balanced brightness, contrast, colour, and detail by merging high dynamic range (HDR) with wide colour gamut capabilities. It also has MEMC motion picture processing capabilities.
On the audio front, TCL's upcoming TV series comes with the DTS decoding technology, which the company says produces sounds akin to the quality of live-studio recordings.
On the design front, the upcoming smart TV series comes with a metallic trim design. In addition to that, the series is equipped with hands-free voice control 2.0, which enables users to switch channels, setting reminders, or exploring streaming services via simple voice commands.
“We are very excited to launch our latest offering, which was also one of the line-ups that we showcased at the recently-held CES...We expect a positive response from our latest addition to the portfolio and promise to roll out more new products in the coming months, which will be designed with innovation at the forefront,” Mike Chen, General Manager TCL India said on the occasion.
