Xiaomi launches Mi TV Horizon series with ‘bezel-less’ display
Mi TV 4A Horizon Edition (32) and Mi TV 4A Horizon Edition (43) are priced at ₹13,499 and ₹22,999 respectively.
Days after teasing the Horizon Edition TV series launch, Xiaomi today finally unveiled it in India. The highlight of the TV is its premium ‘bezel-less’ design. The series includes two models for now - Mi TV 4A Horizon Edition (32) and Mi TV 4A Horizon Edition (43). Mi TV 4A Horizon Edition (32) and Mi TV 4A Horizon Edition (43) are priced at ₹13,499 and ₹22,999 respectively.
While the 32-inch model will be available on mi.com, Mi Home and Flipkart on 11th Sep at 12PM IST, it’s 43-inch version will be available on mi.com, Mi Home and Amazon on 15th Sep at 6PM IST.
Both will be available soon across all Mi Stores, Mi Studio and offline partner stores.
The Mi TV 4A Horizon Edition (32) has a 32-inch HD ready screen while the other one has a 42-inch FHD screen.
The thin bezels of the two TVs results in 95% screen to body ratio and 178-degree viewing angle. They also include Mi’s proprietary Vivid Picture Engine technology for better and more accurate screen calibration, deeper contrasts & improved colour reproduction.
Xiaomi says the 4A Horizon Edition TVs are powered by a new version of PatchWall that is designed for the Indian consumers. It has features like Universal search, Kids mode, curated lists, One Click Pay and more.
As for the sound, Xiaomi Mi TV Horizon Edition series is said to be equipped with 20W stereo speakers with DTS-HD. There are some ports at the back as well including the 3.5mm audio out, SPDIF (only 43-inch variant) and three HDMI ports.
Powering the two is a quad-core processor with Mali 450 GPU, 1GB RAM, 8GB storage, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and Bluetooth v4.2.
