Xiaomi to launch Mi QLED TV 75 in India on April 23

Mi QLED TV 75 is the biggest Xiaomi TV launching in India yet.

Xiaomi has announced the launch of a new Mi TV in India. The Mi QLED TV 75 will launch in India on April 23. The new smart TV will launch alongside the flagship Mi 11 Ultra smartphone. Xiaomi is also launching the Mi 11X series on the same day.

Xiaomi has teased the upcoming Mi TV as “The theatre of tomorrow” on its website. It hasn't revealed anything about the new Mi TV but what we can gather from the product name is it will feature a QLED 75-inch screen. The teaser shows an almost bezel-less display for the Mi QLED TV 75 that is also expected to support 4K resolution. The new Mi TV will also most likely feature Dolby Vision, HDR10+, HDR 10 and HLG.

This will actually be the biggest Mi TV launched in India by Xiaomi. The biggest one offered so far is the Mi QLED TV 4K with a 55-inch display. There's the Redmi Smart TV with a 65-inch display as well but this falls under the Redmi sub-brand. Under the Mi TV series, there hasn't been a 75-inch model yet. The Mi QLED TV 4K is also the last Mi TV Xiaomi launched in India. It's priced at ₹54,999, and it comes in a metallic gray colour.

The Mi QLED TV 4K comes with support for HRD 10+, HDR 10 and Wide Colour Gamut. It is powered by MediaTek's A55 64-bit quad-core processor paired with Mali G52 GPU. The smart TV packs 2GB of RAM and 32GB of onboard storage. It has six speakers in total with four full range drivers and two tweeters. The 30W speakers also come with Dolby Audio and DTS-HD.

On the software front, the Mi QLED TV 4K runs Android 10 out-of-the-box. It has support for Google Assistant and built-in Chromecast as well. The smart TV runs Xiaomi's PatchWall OS on top of Android with features such as universal search, kids mode, smart recommendations, user center and live channels.

On the Mi QLED TV 4K you get three HDMI 2.1 ports, two USB ports, one Ethernet port, one optical port and one 3.5mm port. Its connectivity features include Bluetooth 5.0 and dual band Wi-Fi.
