Apple TV+: Apple’s bid to challenge Netflix & Amazon, coming this fall

In a bid to challenge video streaming platforms like Netflix and Amazon Prime, Apple announced its own service called Apple TV+ which will be launched later this year and will feature exclusive content from Hollywood A-listers. Stars like Steven Spielberg, Oprah Winfrey, Jennifer Aniston and Steve Carrell, among others, are already onboard to create content for the platform. Experts believe that the existence of a billion users of Apple products like iPhones and Mac computers can help the company gain a foothold in a quickly-saturating market.
