It may be a stunt for a mobile company commercial, but this cute little advert is leaving several moist eyes across the world.
Members of a community in Istanbul showed a hearing impaired man how much they cared, by communicating with him in sign language as he stepped out of his house one morning.
Mobile phone company Samsung organised the surprise on a man named Muharrem in an advertisement promoting video call centres for hearing impaired customers in Turkey.
Friends, neighbours and even strangers learnt sign language for a month to pull off the stunt.
The advert starts with the young man and his sister Ozlem -- who was a Samsung contact -- stepping out of their house one morning while cameras set up along the route start filming them.
As they walk along the streets, people they come across -- a bagel shop owner, a cab driver and even strangers who bump into them-- talk to him in sign language.
At one point Muaharrem is seen asking his sister, 'What's going on?'
The surprise is blown when a video billboard by Samsung at a public centre flashes a special message for Muaharrem announcing their call centres for the hearing impaired.
An overwhelmed Muaharrem breaks into tears, and hug the people of the town who gathered around him to cheer.
The video is now going viral on social media platforms. You can watch it here:
