Vivo V50e

The Vivo V50e was launched on April 10, 2025, in India, with a new rear panel design, upgraded camera features, and a bigger battery. The smartphone is popularised for its premium-looking design and camera capabilities that stand out in the mid-range smartphone segment.

Design and display

The Vivo V50e comes in two colour variants, Sapphire Blue and Pearl White. It has a plastic build but offers IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water protection. The smartphone features a vertically placed camera bar, which is divided into two parts; the first half comes with a circular camera module, housing two camera lenses, and the other half consists of an Aura ring light.

For display, the Vivo V50e sports a 6.77-inch quad-curved AMOLED display with up to a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 1800nits peak brightness. The smartphone offers 1 billion colours and comes with HDR10+ support. It has an 88.5% screen-to-body ratio and 388 ppi density. Lastly, it features Diamond Shield Glass for protection.

Performance

Under the hood, the Vivo V50e is powered by the Mediatek Dimensity 7300 processor, built with a 4nm TSMC process. The smartphone also features a Mali-G615 MC2 GPU and offers 8GB RAM with up to 256GB UFS 2.2 storage. This combination will ensure smooth day-to-day performance and multitasking. From the software standpoint, the Vivo V50e runs on FuntouchOS 15 based on Android 15. Vivo claims to offer 3 generations of Android and 4 years of security updates.
