Fitbit today launched a brand new smartwatch called the Fitbit Sense. In addition to the Fitbit Sense, the fitness company also launched the Versa 2 smartwatch, which is the successor to last year's Versa 2 smartwatch. Additionally, the company also launched the Inspire 2 fitness tracker, which is the successor to last year's Inspire series of fitness trackers.

The Fitbit Sense is available in carbon-graphite stainless steel and lunar white-soft gold stainless steel colour variants and it is priced at $329. The Fitbit Versa 2, on the other hand, comes in black-black aluminium, pink clay-soft gold aluminium and midnight-soft gold aluminium colour variants. It costs $229. The Fitbit Inspire 2 costs $99 and it is available in black, lunar white and desert rose colour variants.

In India, the Fitbit Sense costs 34,999, Versa 3 costs 26,499 and Inspire 2 costs 10,999. The three newly launched wearables will available in India in Q4 2020 and in rest of the world starting late September.

Fitbit Sense features

Fitbit Sense is the latest edition to Fitbit's family of smartwatches and it comes with a host of new and advanced features compared to older premium Fitbit smartwatches. For starters, it comes with built-in GPS, which enables users to leave their phone behind even as they go out for a run. It also comes with a new feature called Active Zone Minutes, which helps users to make every minute count during workouts by buzzing their wrist when they enter their personalised target heart rate zones.

Additionally, the Fitbit Sense comes with the sleep tracking feature and high and low heart rate tracking. It also comes with a dedicated Fitbit ECG. The biggest and probably the most defining feature of this newly launched smartwatch is its EDA sensor, which can measure the temperature of a user's skin. Sense logs a user's skin temperature each night to show how it varies from their personal baseline so you can be aware of trends over time. Additionally, the smartwatch has an on-wrist EDA Scan app, which helps Sense detects electrodermal activity, which may indicate a user's body's response to stress and hence enable a user to manage it better.

The Fitbit Sense offers over 6 days of battery and it supports both Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant.

Fitbit Versa 3 specs

The Fitbit Versa 3, just like the Fitbit Sense, comes with over 6 days of battery life, support for Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant. It addition to that, it also comes with built-in GPS, which makes it the first smartwatch in the Versa series to get this functionality.

The Versa 2 successor also features support for fast charging technology and the ability to take calls, in addition to the classic Versa features such as heart-rate tracking, goal-based modes, sleep tracking and the always-on-display mode among others.

Inspire 2 specs

The Fitbit Inspire 2, on the other hand, comes with a realtime pace and distance measurement feature. It also comes with features such as a heart-rate tracker, a sleep tracker, sedentary reminder, menstrual health tracker, guided breathing sessions and more than 20 exercise modes.
