Google Pixel Watch renders reveal a featherweight wearable with a minimalist approach
Google Pixel Watch is in the works for quite some time. If launched, here is what the long-awaited wearable may look like.
Google is yet to reveal the elusive Pixel smartwatch. So far, we have only come across leaks and rumours around the Pixel Watch. Ahead of an official release, concept renders of the long-awaited Pixel Watch have surfaced online.
Posted by jamestsai, Google Pixel Watch renders are based on 3D modelling and attempt at giving a much better look at the wearable. Unlike the Apple Watch and many other lookalikes, Google Pixel Watch is seen sporting a round dial. The circular dial is also very different from Samsung Galaxy Watch which has a bulkier look and feel to it. The Pixel Watch has a flatter and almost bezel-less circular design. There is a button on the side as well.
“The Pixel Watch features a circular display with a soft-touch area creating a smooth tactile finish. The matte glass screen can always match the wrist band's colour when Always-On mode is on. The variety of matte and glossy materials adds a creamy and sleek feel to the smartwatch experience,” says the website.
Google Pixel Watch is said to come in Milk White, Sweet Papaya, and Boba Black colour options.
As seen in renders, Google Pixel Watch has Always-On display, animation clock and UI transition. The WearOS by Google also shows a deeper integration with Google Assistant.
According to recent reports, Google's first Pixel-branded smartwatch will feature an optimised and personalised version of Samsung chipset. The company may also integrate Fitbit features in the smartwatch.
So far, there is no word on when the Pixel Watch may actually launch. It could launch alongside the Pixel 5 but possibilities are quite slim.
