Huawei Watch GT 2 Pro to launch with a new, slimmer design
Here is what you need to know about Huawei’s next wearable.
Huawei Watch GT 2 Pro is in the works for quite some time. The next-gen wearable has already made multiple appearances online ahead of the official launch. Now, more and new details about the wearable have surfaced.
Huawei Watch GT 2 Pro is said to be an upgrade over the GT 2 instead of a new standalone wearable like the Watch Fit. The wearable will reportedly launch in Classic and Sport variants. The device will be available in Nebula Gray and Night Black colour options.
Leaked renders reveal the wearable will come with the slicker form factor. The rim on the top also appears to have been trimmed. The renders confirm a shift in the design approach as Huawei's wearables have been slightly bulkier.
As far as specs and features go, Huawei Watch GT 2 Pro will come with 5 ATM water resistance. It is said to launch with more than 100 exercise mode. It will also come with SpO2 tracking. The wearable will feature a speaker and improved GPU as well.

Huawei's next smartwatch will come with wireless charging. The device is said to deliver up to 2 weeks of back up. The wearable is likely to run on an in-house operating system. According to older leaks, the GT 2 Pro will offer the same specs as Honor Watch GS Pro.
Huawei Watch GT 2 Pro is expected to launch alongside Mate 40 smartphone series in October this year. The new wearable will compete with Apple's Watch Series 6, Oppo watch, and Samsung's Galaxy Watch 3.
